Our Profesia Lab in Slovakia has just released a comprehensive guide for HR professionals, employers, and community partners. It offers practical steps on how to best include young people with disabilities in the workforce. You can download the PDF for free. 

The guide, titled “Untapped Talents,” isn’t just a summary of Profesia Lab’s three years of work—it’s also a call to employers to rethink how they approach diversity. It shows that inclusion is about systematic effort with clear benefits for both employers and candidates. The guide is packed with data and practical advice. 

What’s inside for HR professionals? 

You’ll find actionable tools like: 

  • Detailed checklists for workplace adjustments (lighting, noise levels, scheduling, assistive tech) 
  • Communication tips for engaging with neurodivergent candidates (e.g., individuals with autism, ADHD, epilepsy)

Tried and Tested: From Training to Employment 

Profesia Lab isn’t just theory—it’s backed by hands-on experience. Between 2023 and 2024, the program supported 220 candidates: 

  • 198 completed their preparation 
  • 106 visited partner companies 
  • 80 secured internships 
  • Dozens have continued into employment through 2025 

And the real proof? Feedback from participating companies. When onboarding and work environments are adapted for people with disabilities, it works. The guide explains exactly how they did it. 

Inclusive Hub: A Growing International Initiative 

Our job platforms in Slovakia —Profesia and the Práca za rohom app—help all job seekers, including those with disabilities, find the right employment. The Profesia Lab project has been a vital part of that mission. 

While Profesia Lab continues to operate as an innovation incubator in Slovakia, its solutions are now being adopted internationally through the Inclusive Hub platform. In 2026, HR teams from eight more countries will join.
